Business tycoon and politician, Princess Edukugho Regina, says the new Delta State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, holds great promise for the political future of Itsekiri Nation.
Princess Edukugho, who's the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Luresa Nigeria Limited, hinged her optimism on the political antecedents of Chief Solomon Areyenka, Mr. Austin Oribioye and the grassroots experience of Hon. Tuoyo Memuduaghan.
The emerging Warri - based political force, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International Thursday March 5, appreciated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori " for broadening the political space, by creating the environment, which paved the way for Chief Solomon Areyenka to emerge Chairman of the State Working Committee of APC."
She expressed confidence that Chief Areyenka, would swiftly institute machinery in place, to bring aggrieved members of the APC into the fold and further weaken opposition political parties in the state.
Princess Edukugho, urged Itsekiris and other Deltans in the APC to rally round the party's new leadership, " to enable members of the SWC, work seamlessly with the state government, for accelerated development in the state."
